Sterling silver heart pendant

There are lots of ways to add texture to silver, but this silver heart pendant is made using a process that gives every piece its own completely unique surface.

To create the texture, I heat the silver until it’s hot enough to begin flowing, but not so hot that it melts into a smooth puddle. The silver moves slightly as it heats, creating an organic textured slab that’s then cut into a heart shape.

Because the silver flows differently each time, no two hearts are ever identical.

The heart shown is approximately 2cm long and around 2mm thick, which gives it a satisfyingly chunky feel while still being comfortable to wear every day. If you’d prefer a different size, I’m always happy to make variations on the design.

Each pendant is handmade by me here in Cornwall and usually made to order, with a typical make time of around 7 days. I’ll confirm the expected delivery time after ordering, but if you’re working to a deadline just get in touch via the Contact page and I’ll do my best to help.

The pendant comes with an 18 inch sterling silver diamond cut curb chain. If you’d prefer a different chain length or weight, just send me a message and we can arrange something that suits you better.
