What would happen if you cut a heart shape from silver, piled it with interesting little fragments of sterling silver and then torch fired the whole thing?
It would look something like this!
I heated the sterling silver until the surface began to flow and fuse together, creating an organic textured finish that is utterly unique.
Each pendant, made using this technique, comes out differently, which is part of what I love about making them. The silver moves unpredictably as it heats, forming tiny textures, folds and raised details across the surface.
